Watoto Charity Ball 2007

The Watoto Charity Ball took place on Saturday 29th September 2007 at The Hilton, Kents Hill, Milton Keynes.

The evening was a great success. The night was filled with excitement and everyone joined in the fun making it a fun filled memorable evening.

Jocelyn Alexander sang whilst the guests enjoyed the sumptuous 3 course meal. The five lane track scallectrix proved really popular, with a male and female top prize of a bottle of champagne being given for the fastest lap (well done Clare!).

The auction raised bundles of cash for our charity Watoto. The Pele football was jostled over and reached a great sum. Our surprise cuddly toy lot of the red and yellow twin sunbeams that sung "Always look on the bright side of life" fetched a whopping £45.00!! They danced the night away with their very happy owner!

All the women were given a special red rose to show just how wonderful you all are. Finally the raffle put smiles on lots of faces.

Over the night we raised £4,000.00. An incredible achievement that we want to thank all those who attended for.

2008 is set to be even better, so book tickets early to avoid disappointment as interest is already high.
